What is OpenFront?

OpenFront.io is a free online real-time strategy game focused on territorial control and alliance building on maps based on real-world geography. It is open source and began as a fork and rewrite of WarFront.io. Matches are multiplayer and run directly in the browser.

What makes a game feel like OpenFront

1. CLAIMFRONT – territory conquest with a base and a real army

CLAIMFRONT map with rival nations, bases and marching armies

CLAIMFRONT keeps the fast race for land and adds base building. Your headquarters, outposts and captured towns project territory. You build housing, mines, oil wells, barracks, factories, heliports, harbors and a missile base, and you send armies that physically march across the map to occupy land or besiege enemy bases.

Which one should you try?

If you enjoy the quick territory race of OpenFront or Territorial.io but want to decide what your army is made of – and have a base worth defending – CLAIMFRONT is built for you. If you prefer pure turn-based planning, try Konkr.io or Warzone; for weeks-long campaigns, Supremacy 1914.
