FAQ
The most common questions about CLAIMFRONT, the free online strategy game about territory, bases and armies.
Is CLAIMFRONT free to play?
Yes. CLAIMFRONT is completely free and runs in your web browser. There is nothing to download or buy, and you can play as a guest without creating an account.
Does CLAIMFRONT work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The game runs in mobile browsers on Android and iPhone as well as on Windows, macOS and Linux. On a touch screen you tap a target, check the order preview and confirm it with one button, in portrait or landscape.
How many players can play together?
Online matches have room for up to 8 nations (7 on small maps). Empty seats are filled by bots, so a public match always starts on time. Solo games against bots support up to 10 nations on large maps.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Create a private room under Play online and send the invitation link, or join Quick Play together: a new public lobby starts every 60 seconds.
Can I play alone against bots?
Yes. Pick one of 9 maps (3 small, 3 medium and 3 large) or a random map, choose easy, normal or hard bots and start immediately. Solo games can be paused and sped up.
How do I win a match?
Capture the headquarters of every rival nation or control 60 % of the land. Allied nations can also win together.
Is CLAIMFRONT like OpenFront or Territorial.io?
It belongs to the same genre of real-time territory conquest games played in the browser. CLAIMFRONT adds a base-building economy, eight unit types including tanks, helicopters and warships, armies that march across the map, diplomacy and missile strikes. See games like OpenFront. CLAIMFRONT is an independent game and is not affiliated with OpenFront or Territorial.io.
Do I need an account?
No. An optional account (username and password, or Google sign-in) keeps your statistics and ranking and lets you return to an online match on another device.
Is there a ranking?
Yes. Public multiplayer matches with at least two human players award XP that counts toward the top 50 leaderboard. Private rooms and solo games are not ranked.
Which languages are supported?
The game is translated into 13 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Arabic and Czech. Some online and account texts are currently available in English and Czech only.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. The current version has no ads and nothing to buy. Every player starts a match with the same resources, and account levels give no combat advantage.
